Sid took the challenge seriously and used a request that could have ended a friendship as a opportunity to prove there's nothing he wouldn't do for his beloved co-host.
Pretty in Pink is a horrid, vapid train wreck of a movie fraught with heavy-handed symbolism and human caricatures fighting cliched battles. The only redeeming quality James and Sid could agree on was that James Spader does an awesome job playing a douche.
Was it worth it? Was James justified in making Sid watch this metaphoric coffee stain on the brat pack tuxedo? Is the Karmann Ghia the perfect car for Molly Ringwald's Andie? Would she even have a car?! How about that BMW 318i? Awesome... or a bit boring?
